Now applied as a successful senior management tool

In Norway and, to some degree, in Sweden, the Successive Principle has been developed via additional research from a calculation tool to a primary and successful senior management tool. The unique results combine an appreciable productivity and competitiveness boost together with the desired degree of control over budget adherence in relation to large-scale public projects. Norway is the first country where this latter element has been successfully achieved. Over a number of years, the research results have been applied internationally to the control of projects and programmes up to and including mega-size, such as in the oil industry and in relation to nuclear power authorities. Even large IT projects have been kept under control.
